Yes. Once you inquire, we’ll ask for a few documents to get to know you better. This usually includes some information about yourself and documents such as a work contract, university acceptance letter, or other proof of the reason for your stay, along with proof of solvency like recent payrolls, a bank statement, or your latest tax return. Living at BelVillage

Each apartment has its own dedicated Wi-Fi network. You’ll receive the network name and password together with your check-in information via email, shortly after arrival. In some buildings, the information may also be visible on a touchscreen display or in a printed guide inside the apartment.

Each apartment has a unique intercom code. Please provide your specific code to the delivery person so they can ring your unit directly. You’ll need to go downstairs to collect your package, as remote door opening is not available. Letters are delivered to a central mailbox and handed over regularly.

In Spain, tenants are required to pay the ITP (Impost de Transmissions Patrimonials), a mandatory government tax for rental contracts.
This tax must be paid by the tenant directly—we do not handle this type of paperwork.

You can pay it online via this link:

Alternatively, you can pay it by phone or by making an appointment at a local tax office (Ajuntament) by calling +34 93 551 51 51.

After your check-in, we’ll send you a welcome email with all the essential contacts: office hours phone number, emergency number, email address, and a link to our ticket system for reporting issues or making requests. Keep it handy—it’s your go-to for anything you need during your stay.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-out is before 12:00 PM (noon) on your final day. If you need a late check-out, please contact our staff in advance to see if it can be arranged, depending on availability.

Absolutely. You can check out on your own by leaving the key / access card on the table, closing the door, and sending us a message to confirm you've left the apartment. One of our team members will inspect the flat the next business day to check cleanliness, furniture, and appliances. If you prefer, you can also request a check-out with a staff member between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Once we’ve checked the apartment and everything is in order, we’ll email you to request your bank details for the deposit refund. While in Berlin the legal timeframe for deposit refunds is up to 6 months, at BelVillage we usually process refunds within 2 to 3 weeks, as long as the apartment has been returned in the same condition.

Guest policies vary by property; it's best to check with the specific buildings for their rules regarding overnight guests.

Contracts & Renewals

Just reply to our email at least one week before your contract ends to let us know your plans. If we don’t hear from you within that time, your apartment will be made available for the next BelVillager.
