Before you move in

Yes. To confirm your reservation, you’ll need to pay the damage deposit (usually 2 months of rent), the entry fee (€200), and in some cases, the first month’s rent and/or utilities.

Payments are made via bank transfer, and you’ll get all the necessary details by email once your booking is confirmed.
At the moment, we don’t accept credit cards or cash—just keeping it simple and secure.

Yes—just bring your suitcase! Every apartment is fully furnished and equipped for everyday life. Each flat has been designed to maximize space, thanks to the BentoBox, a pioneering concept featuring an all-in-one bathroom and kitchen area. Additionally, there's a sleeping area with a double bed, ample storage space, a desk, and a living area complete with a sofa, 50" Smart TV, and dining table. Don’t miss out on the amenities available!

Our minimum stay is 3 months, with the option to renew.

Yes. Once you inquire, we’ll ask for a few documents to get to know you better. This usually includes some information about yourself and documents such as a work contract, university acceptance letter, or other proof of the reason for your stay, along with proof of solvency like recent payrolls, a bank statement, or your latest tax return. After approval, we’ll guide you through the booking process.

Living at BelVillage

Each apartment has its own dedicated Wi-Fi network. You’ll receive the network name and password together with your check-in information via email, shortly after arrival. In some buildings, the information may also be visible on a touchscreen display or in a printed guide inside the apartment.

Each apartment has a unique intercom code. Please provide your specific code to the delivery person so they can ring your unit directly. You’ll need to go downstairs to collect your package, as remote door opening is not available. Letters are delivered to a central mailbox and handed over regularly.

Spain
Tenants are required to pay the ITP (Impost de Transmissions Patrimonials), a mandatory government tax for rental contracts.
This tax must be paid by the tenant directly—we do not handle this type of paperwork.

Alternatively, you can pay it by phone or by making an appointment at a local tax office (Ajuntament) by calling +34 93 551 51 51.

Berlin
Tenants must also pay the Rundfunkbeitrag, a national broadcasting fee of €18.36 per month (around €55 every three months), which covers public TV and radio.
This tax is not included in your rent or utilities, and must be paid separately to the German broadcasting authority.

After your check-in, we’ll send you a welcome email with all the essential contacts: office hours phone number, emergency number, email address, and a link to our ticket system for reporting issues or making requests. Keep it handy—it’s your go-to for anything you need during your stay.

Real emergencies only, please (floods, lockouts, health or safety issues). For everything else, reach out during working hours.

Cleaning services are currently provided for shared spaces only. At the moment, private apartments are not included in the regular cleaning schedule.

Yes, many BelVillage buildings organize regular events and activities to foster community engagement among residents.

Yes, laundry facilities, including washers and dryers, are available for residents to use.

Yes, many BelVillage buildings offer dedicated coworking areas or workspaces for residents.

Yes, we provide a full set of bath towels, including a body towel, hand towel, and floor towel. Bed linens are also included to make your move-in as smooth as possible.

Yes, some BelVillage buildings feature outdoor areas such as terraces or gardens for residents to enjoy.

Some BelVillage buildings are equipped with elevators for residents' convenience, but not all properties have one.

Yes, BelVillage buildings have a community manager or host available to assist residents.

Yes, BelVillage buildings are located in areas with accessible public transportation.

Yes, BelVillage buildings have designated quiet hours to ensure a comfortable living environment for all residents.

Smoking is not allowed inside our apartments or in any indoor common areas. For designated outdoor smoking areas, please check with the building manager, as policies may vary slightly between properties.

There is no curfew at BelVillage—residents are free to come and go at any time. We simply ask everyone to be mindful of noise and respect their neighbors, especially during nighttime hours.

Check-In & Check-Out

Contracts & Renewals

Just reply to our email at least one week before your contract ends to let us know your plans. If we don’t hear from you within that time, your apartment will be made available for the next BelVillager.
